2024 Named Clelian Year of Humility and Charity

Each year, the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus throughout the world celebrate a unique aspect of Blessed Clelia’s charism. This year we are celebrating a Clelian Year of Humility and Charity, and will strive to nurture these virtues in every aspect of our lives in order to share the love of the Heart of Christ through simple gestures and acts of love.
In her diary, Blessed Clelia writes: “My good Jesus makes me understand that humility is the mother of charity. He wants me to treat everyone with respect and goodness and to find my happiness in the delicate attention and loving kindness that the true charity of Christ inspires and humility carries out.” And in Scripture we read, “As I have done for you, you should also do” (John 13:15).
May Blessed Clelia’s legacy inspire all of us to be instruments of peace and hope, allowing humility and charity to flourish in our world throughout the year.
