Published: November 3, 2022

Get into the Christmas spirit with the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the 44th annual Holly Berry Festival November 18–19 at Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden!
A local tradition, the Holly Berry Festival is a family-friendly juried craft fair that raises funds to support the care of the retired and aging Apostles at Sacred Heart Manor.
This year’s festival will feature more than forty crafters from across Connecticut and beyond. Visitors can shop for holiday and home décor, jewelry, apparel, bath and body care, pet items, and more across 50+ booths. Handcrafted wares, specialty foods, and baked goods made by the Apostle Sisters will also be on sale, including the Sisters' highly popular Italian-style pickled eggplant.
The event also includes raffle prizes, children’s activities, a food court, and pictures with Santa. This year’s Main Raffle drawing features three prizes: $1,000 in Visa gift cards, $500 in Visa gift cards and a $250 Visa gift card. There are also gift basket raffles and a Christmas tree raffle.
Festival hours are 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19. Admission and parking are free. For those who cannot come out in person, many of the handcrafted items made by the Sisters will be available for purchase online November 11–15.
