Published: 08/08/22

Sr. Allison Lee Zink, ASCJ, professed for the first time vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience as an Apostle of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on July 30, 2022, in the presence of God, family, friends, and Sister Apostles.
A native of St. Louis, Sr. Allison entered the Congregation in 2018 shortly after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University. Over the past year, she served as a teacher’s aide at St. Raphael Academy in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She will begin her new ministry at Clelian Heights School in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, for children and adults with special needs this fall.
Also at this Mass, the following Sisters renewed their vows: Sr. Catherine Frances Brodersen, ASCJ; Sr. Allison Lorraine Masserano, ASCJ; Sr. Catherine Ann Phillips, ASCJ; and Sr. Justine Reina Praxedes, ASCJ. Vows are renewed annually for Sisters who have yet to profess Perpetual Vows.
The Mass was celebrated at Mount Sacred Heart Chapel in Hamden, Connecticut, by Rev. Samuel Kachuba.
