Apostles Celebrate First Profession and Renewal of Vows

Sr. Justine Reina Praxedes, ASCJ, professed first vows as an Apostle of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on July 31, 2021, at Mount Sacred Heart in Hamden.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Sr. Justine Reina entered the Apostles in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of North Florida and is also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She also completed a four-year Biblical Studies certificate program from the Hartford Catholic Biblical School.
Sr. Justine Reina is a passionate caregiver and plans to pursue a nursing degree.
At this same Mass, Sr. Allison Lorraine Masserano, ASCJ, and Sr. Catherine Ann Phillips, ASCJ, renewed their temporary vows. These vows are renewed annually until perpetual profession.
Sr. Allison Lorraine, a native of the Bronx, professed first vows in 2018 and currently ministers at Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden. A native of St. Louis, Sr. Catherine Ann professed first vows in 2019 and currently ministers at All Saints Catholic Academy in New Haven, CT.
