Holly Berry Festival
Published: November 2020

Our annual Holly Berry Festival is going virtual this year as the 12 Days of Holly Berry from November 10 through 21.
The 12 Days of Holly Berry will combine the convenience of online shopping with traditional festival activities. Holly Berry staples like the Apostles’ famous pickled eggplant, homemade jellies, and special handcrafted items made by the Sisters will be available for purchase via an online store.
The Holly Berry raises critical funds that support the care of the retired and infirm Apostles at Sacred Heart Manor in Hamden. This year’s event will feature a main raffle with three grand prizes. The drawing will be held November 21 at 2:00 p.m. (EST) and will be broadcast live online. Winners can pick up their prize or have it mailed to them at no cost.
There will also be traditional basket raffles and a virtual Christmas Tree Lane raffle featuring an assortment of beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Handcrafted items will be available for shipping in the United States at an additional cost. All other items, including pickled eggplant, jellies, baked goods, basket raffles, and Christmas trees must be picked up at Mount Sacred Heart in Hamden, Connecticut. Free curbside pickup will be offered.
The virtual Holly Berry store will open on November 10 at 10:00 a.m. (EST) on the Holly Berry website and will remain open through November 21. The store will not be accessible prior to November 10 and items cannot be reserved or purchased in advance.
More specific details will become available as the event nears. Updates will be posted here on our website and on our Facebook page. We hope to “see” you during this special virtual event in support of our retired Sisters!
