Paying It Forward

Dozens of homemade cookies baked by Sisters at the Provincialate in Hamden, Connecticut were delivered to members of the Hamden Police and Fire Departments in gratitude for their tireless service and dedication to the community. The cookies were delivered on March 10 in conjunction with our day of giving fundraiser and Blessed Clelia’s birthday.
“We wanted to take the opportunity to give something back on the day when so many generously gave to us,” said Sr. Colleen Therese Smith, director of the Office of Mission Advancement for the Province. “It was our way of paying it forward and sharing the love of the heart of Christ in the form of unexpected kindness.
