Our Provincialate in Hamden, Connecticut, is home to numerous events throughout the year, and we are always in need of helping hands! Special events include our annual Holly Berry Festival craft fair in November, profession of vows, renewal of vows, jubilee celebrations, and special Masses like our annual Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Mass.
Holly Berry Festival
The Holly Berry Festival, which falls on the Friday and Saturday before Thanksgiving, is our largest fundraiser of the year with event proceeds benefitting the care of our retired Sisters. Festival highlights include 50+ booths, raffle drawings, food court, bake sale, kids’ activities, and entertainment.
The success of the Holly Berry Festival would not be possible without a dedicated team of volunteers! Opportunities to support this event include:
- Baking (for our bake sale)
- Making/donating quality handcrafted items to be sold at our Sisters’ booth
- Assistance making our famous pickled eggplant
- Event space set up and break down
- Booth volunteers
- Kitchen crew
- Day-of support
